Terms of use
Last updated:
By using QRZeta (qrzeta.com) you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
1. The service
QRZeta is a free, ad-supported tool for creating QR codes. Static QR codes are generated in your browser and encode your
content directly. Dynamic QR codes encode a QRZeta short link (qrzeta.com/r/…) that redirects to the URL you
choose, which you can change without reprinting the code.
2. Dynamic QR codes
- They are free. To create or edit them we email you a one-time code; there are no passwords.
- You can have up to 20 active dynamic QR codes per email. We may adjust this limit to protect the service.
- Only
https://destinations are allowed. Link shorteners and redirect chains are not permitted. - If you lose access to your email you will not be able to edit your dynamic QR codes. We cannot move them to another email.
- If you delete a dynamic QR code or all your data, the printed codes stop working permanently.
3. Acceptable use
You may not use QRZeta for:
- Phishing, fraud, scams or impersonation.
- Distributing malware or unwanted software.
- Spam or illegal content, including content that infringes third-party rights.
- Trying to bypass limits, automating sign-ups or attacking the service.
We may disable without notice any link that breaks these rules or is reported on reasonable grounds. To report a link, email [email protected] including the short link.
4. Your content
The content you encode and your destination URLs are yours and you are responsible for them, including respecting trademarks, copyright and third-party personal data. Logos you upload are processed only in your browser.
5. Intellectual property
The QRZeta brand, design and site code belong to us. You may use the QR codes you generate freely, including for commercial purposes. "QR Code" is a registered trademark of DENSO WAVE INCORPORATED.
6. Availability and warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make reasonable efforts to keep short links working, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We recommend testing every QR code before printing it.
7. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, QRZeta is not liable for indirect damages, lost profits, data loss or reprinting costs arising from the use of, or inability to use, the service. Nothing here limits your rights under consumer protection law.
8. Changes
We may change the service or these terms. We will publish the new version with its date. If you keep using QRZeta after the change, you accept the new terms.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Peru. Unless the law of your country provides otherwise, any dispute will be submitted to the courts of Lima.
